A high number of our Participants go on after graduating from High School to U.S. Colleges on baseball scholarships or even getting drafted by professional baseball clubs either before attending college or after. We had 13 participants drafted out of the 2002 MLB Draft and 9 in 2003 and 1 out of the 2008 MLB Draft.

     Since 1989 the Hamilton Cardinals have been operating Instructional Baseball Schools in and Around the Golden Horseshoe Area to enhance the play and most importantly the enjoyment of the game of baseball in players of all ages and abilities.

     Although all of these Great things have happened to Players with our help, we do not take full credit as without hard work none of these events would have taken place, but, we like to think we had a little bit to do with the progression of these young men and women. The Success we are most proud of though come from the Grass Roots of Baseball in Ontario.

  • OBA AAA Minor Bantam Semi Finalists 2009 out of Hamilton
  • OBA AA Rookie Ball Champions 2008 out of Hamilton
  • OBA Major Bantam AAA 2006 National Champions
  • OBA Major Pee Wee – Minor Bantam back to back OBA Champions out of Hamilton
  • OBA Midget AAA 2005 Finalists out of Hamilton
  • OBA AA 2005 Championship team out of Hamilton
In closing, let us say that we have never been a high profile organization. We rely on community service announcements and word of mouth advertising almost exclusively. Most of our participants return year after year which indicates that both the player and player’s parents are happy with the program and their child’s development.
